June 20 – July 1, 2016 — Cross Canada & Rockies by Rail Journey

Begin your trip in Toronto, Canada’s largest city, taking a short tour of this bustling city and explore the Theater area, Young Street, City Hall, Hockey Hall of Fame and the romantic Casa Loma Castle.  Visit the beautiful Niagra Peninsula stopping to enjoy the shipping locks that join the Great Lakes.  You will proceed to the thundering Falls with a boat tour to the base of the falls!  On to the provinces of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta to see a vast area of the country.  Start your day off with a Tram Ride to the top of 7500 ft Whistlers Mountain for breakfast to return back through the beautiful Maligne Canyon.  Another spectacular day awaits as you move south along the world famous Icefield Highway stopping at the Athabasca Falls.  Traverse two 6000 ft mountain passes, five separate river systems, dozens of mountain streams and lakes and the largest Glacial mass south of the Arctic Circle.  Travel the road less taken as you tour Banff National Pard and move south through the spectacular Kananaskis (Grizzly) Trail.  Stop at the Bar-Ranch and take a tour of this historic area, once the largest ranch in North America.  Welcome the Many Glacier International Park crossing into Montana to enjoy the great Indian tribes who once dominated this area and its culture.  See the great ranches and oil fields of Southern Alberta and along the way visit one of the world’s finest collections of carriages at the Remington Carriage Museum.  A visit to the first home of the Royal Canadian Mountain Police in Fort McLeod will round out your day before arriving in the dynamic city of Calgary for the night.  Contact Deb Walker to reserve your spot!

September 10 – 18, 2016 — Pacific Northwest Cruise Tour

Cruising along the “Great Rivers of the West” — The Columbia and Snake Rivers — is one of the world’s unique travel experiences and one you will never forget.  We’ll cruise through the history of the Lewis & Clark’s expedition in 1805 and 1806, and the Oregon Trail pioneers.  You’ll cruise over four hundred miles from Clarkston, Washing to Astoria, Oregon, go through eight locks and observe incredible scenery and variety of the Columbia River Gorge.  The mighty Columbia River is the longest waterway on the West Coast, and the only one to carve its way through the Cascade Mountain Range, making east and west migration possible.  By the time you disembark, you will have had the opportunity to see and photograph the many and varied aspects of this mighty river system–rolling farmland, orchards, and vineyards, bustling towns and cities, incomparable Pacific Northwest scenery, interesting and unique cultural attractions and historic sites made famous by Lewis & Clark and Oregon Trail Pioneers.  Your charming vessel has onboard galleries filled with Russian artwork such as Faberge eggs and nesting dolls, paintings of wildlife and western settlement, and Native American carved totems and masks. Contact Deb Walker for reservations!
